What does Plaid Paws by Maus do?

We bring a ton to the table, and would love to share it with you! Our studio specializes in our own style of toony fursuits and experiments in the realistic style. All of our works are machine sewn and professionally put together for long-term wear and comfort. We offer quick repairs at our tables as well as building supplies. Stay crafty!

Maus, our main artist, supplies a majority of the art and makes all our stickers in-house. This allows for quality control and is a proud addition to our tables. Maus is the master of any sewing machine and sews, glues, and cuts everything above standard.

Our Guest Artists

We collaborate with Stormbound Cosplay on certain projects to bring our best. They help aid our main artist Maus at cons and at the table. Nafierye, or Nafie, has been a great help when Maus needs a break.

Sometimes, our good friend FurZone Creations tags along. Colin is our down-to-earth gopher who keeps things level.

Space needs:

Our setup does best in a two-table setup, but we can do great things with a single table! Pictured in our sketches and pictures is a setup for one table, using a six (6) foot table and six (6) foot space from the front of the table to the back of the space.

Inventory:

ADA asks:

Maus has mobility issues due to pain and fatigue from fibromyalgia and may need a wheelchair from time to time. They also have anxiety so they may need additional time to address issues when brought to their attention. We plan accordingly and have multiple helpers, but may need staff to step in on occasion.

Intellectual Property:

If we are selling anything that may violate IP rules, please reach out to us. We are happy to bring something else to fill that inventory space!

Concerning our MixedCandy bases — We purchased mold rights from their prior owner. We can provide our purchase record if issues arise. We bring a limited number of casts to conventions.

Concerning our silicone pawpads — These were given to us by Keeatah of Kandorin Creations, and expressed permission was given for sale.

Concerning our furb faceplates — The model was made in house, and they are printed in house. While they are a crafting supply, we understand if we are asked not to bring them. They are considered “backup” inventory for if we end up with extra space!
